there are too many ads!i think i sometimes accidentally click them, but other times i know i didnt click them and they take me to a website all about the freaking ad i just 'clicked' and many of them are disgusting ads showing half naked women. wetpaint- why would you want those kind of ads on your wetpaint sites? Do you find this valuable? |

I agree! Some of them you don't even have to click, but they pop up anyway and some of them aren't exactly fun to look at. We should all be over thirteen if we have an account, but still--non wetpaint users can still view them. You can pay to get the ads removed though, but I think they should be toned down a bit. But wetpaint probably has a reason for having them up (getting paid probably).

Wetpaint recently was running out of money, and laid a few staff we miss off. These ads will most likely be changed when Wetpaint gets the resources.

The only ad I don't like is the Mpire ad. Because it will show up when your editing, and then you click it, and it takes you to a different page. And then you have to start all over!

"The only ad I don't like is the Mpire ad. Because it will show up when your editing, and then you click it, and it takes you to a different page. And then you have to start all over!"It should ask if you would like to continue going to that page without saving... like a warning so you don't lose all your work. What wiki is this on? How much does it cost to remove the ads from your site? I'm just wondering...

"19.99 a month. Or just get adblock + for free"Adding on to what DerCat said, if you plan on removing them, you can read about how to remove ads, billing, and other important issues on this page: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Remove+Advertising Do you find this valuable? |

"Could you tell us the wiki this was on, the URL of the ad, and a link to a screen shot of the ad? We like remove inappropriate ads from the network."http://sherlockholmesinfo.wetpaint.com/ I don't have a screenshot of the ad. And it links to all kinds of different sites. It is an ad about the top deals on stuff like Paula Deen Skillets, Paula deen sauces, etc. Do you find this valuable? |
