on this site, I recieved a sweetheart scam and I had no idea it was until now. I did say 'sorry but no' when she asked for my email. Here's the message:

Hello (victoria12dd@yahoo.com)
My name is victoria, i saw your profile today and became intrested in you,i will also like to know you more,and if you can send an email to my email address,i will give you my pictures here is my email address (victoria12dd@yahoo.com) I believe we can move from here! Awaiting for your mail to my email address above.

her username was vickyjoy200, and I just now noticed she was banned. Am I ok that I replied, although I didn't give my email? Do you find this valuable?

As long as you did not give personal information, I believe you are fine. Next time, however, I suggest blocking the user, copying and pasting the message and reporting the user to the moderators, and then deleting their message. You will be fine, but next time, I suggest you pay no attention to them and do not reply at all. Do you find this valuable?

my friend from cuteberries had a cuteberries mil and in march got a forgein sweetheart scam
and stuff.They deleted the email and her and didnt respond. And they made a new email Do you find this valuable?

I didn't, but I didn't realize it was a sweetheart scam at the time. Of course I didn't give anything out, for its common internet sense. When I read the rules yesterday, I freaked out when I realized I got a sweetheart scam. Do you find this valuable?

To read a more indepth description on Sweetheart or Romance scams, go to this page on Splats. You will see why they are so prevalent and so hard to stop.
You cannot prevent them from being received. You can be aware of them and do the proper actions when you do receive one. Report -Ignore -Delete
