RSS on News page does not update properly

I've found that the RSS feed of http://www.theolympian.com/southsound/index.rss on http://www.soulbridgethurston.org/news is very slow to update. The source feed is updated once a day but it can be 2 to 3 days (at this moment it is 2 days old) even if I refresh the news page manually before the new headlines are reflected on our site. I use Firefox 3.5 on XP Pro and on Vista HP.

That was not supposed to be posted as anonymous. I forgot that I needed to enable cookies for wetpaint central (they're enabled on our wiki already). It was by me.

It appears to be something with the feed, not Wetpaint, but I'm still lost. My live bookmark in Firefox will spend days at a time with "This... feed failed to load." However, if I visit the URL for the RSS manually, it has all the most updated stories. I have no idea, but I'll just have to add it back once it's fully online I guess.

I have no idea, but I'll just have to add it back once it's fully online I guess."I am experiencing the same issue with RSS feeds in Wetpaint, but in my case I am trying to feed from diigo: "http://groups.diigo.com/rss/scu-capstone/forum" and google groups: "http://groups.google.com/group/mgmt619/feed/rss_v2_0_msgs.xml." The diigo feed fails to load and indicates: "Unable to load RSS feed. Please try again later." The google groups RSS feed loads intermittently. Do you find this valuable? |

I am the previous poster (post related to RSS feeds from diigo and google groups). Just to clarify, it's not clear whether the issue is with Wetpaint or the RSS feeds, and these feeds are posted on my Wetpaint homepage not the news page per Nate Porter's post.
