Thank you for allowing established ad-free sites to keep their status

Thank you, Wetpaint, for allowing educational sites that had registered prior to August 10 to keep their ad-free status. If you had taken that away after all the effort that some people had put into sites that they believed were ad free, it could have damaged your reputation. However, having to review 1000 sites per week sounds like quite an onerous burden. At the same time, allowing the old educational sites to continue is greatly appreciated. We will continue to proudly introduce many new young people to the terrific software that you have. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I'm also delighted you're keeping the earlier accounts ad-free. I set mine up last year w/ ad-free status for a class I'm teaching again this fall, and it was so user-friendly compared to wikis I used in previous classes.

I didn't even know about the policy change until I logged in tonight to start updating the wiki. So I'm relieved that my students and I will be able to continue using our wiki ad-free.
