Encourage your members to contribute to the wiki, make them want to come. You could do one of the following:- Create a forum game. (Example, Count to 15 before a mod+ posts) - Add new content often. (Example, a new game or a chat box.) - Make a contest. (Example, the person who gets the most members will win) And much more! Make your members want to come daily to check up on what is new and what is the latest news. Make your members invite some people to come. ~Yoshi Do you find this valuable? |

If you have a passion, others share it. I mean internally link it. Once a new, interested person on your site see's one great page, chances are they are going to want to see similar pages. Maybe they don't join because it sounds dull. Make your site as exciting as possible! or put an ad on wpads.

You may want to put more information on them to invite members into the different areas. 2. The dark blue text links against a black background is very hard to read. 3. When you start a thread, make it interesting to open up different avenues for members to go down. A one line such as "I am bored", isn't going to excite others to participate. " Sitting against an aged oak tree, trying to conjure thoughts to break my boredom, I saw something wiggle from behind a huge tree, a tree much larger than the one that is keeping me upright. I arise and venture off. Now, to quench my curiosity." This opens up many different directions for the members to reply. Where is the forest? What moved in the distance? What will happen to the adventurer? What about that tree? Try to be more alluring or enticing in the opening story line. If you build a better mousetrap, you will catch more mice. On my site, I keep the links a text color to where you see it.I also make sure that if I don't have time to edit blank pages, I get other members on my site invovled with the page. Or I put "This Page is Under Construction!" Hope this Helped! Do you find this valuable? |

Not necessarily. There are many places you can advertise your wiki, such as the official advertising wiki, http://www.wpads.wetpaint.com.
