Why the five feed limit?

Dear Wetpaint crew,Please raise the five feed limit! I'm working very hard to develop a community of commenters around the news feed on the TMS wiki, but the five feed limit feels very limiting. For example, I want to do Twitter feeds, RSS blogs, and News article feeds. I have 3 Twitter feeds that I want to include, 4 RSS blogs that I want to include and 4 News article feeds that I want to include. Does it really make sense to limit me to just one Twitter feed, 3 RSS, and a meager 1 news feed? (Since I can't reorder the feeds, I'm having to keep less than that, but that's another story and I have faith that the inability to reorder feeds without deleting them and losing the corresponding comments will get fixed in time) In promoting the wiki's News page, I've even gone so far as to contact bloggers to ask them to respond to the comments in the news feed. But if I'm only going to have 3 RSS, readers are going to wonder, what is the point of reading blogs at the wiki? Why not just go to the original blog, where the layout is cleaner, where the recent posts are all on one page, and where you can see the comments right under the blog postings? If they are going to visit an aggregator, then it should aggregate more than a paltry 5 blogs. Please at least give us 8 or 10. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I too would like more than a 5 feed limit.
