Can current users see the list of banned users?

I also use this site as a supplement to a course and I've been banning former students to clean the slate for my new students...however, will my new students be able to see who I've banned, or is that something that only I see as an administrator? Sort of an odd thing to have to explain if current users can tell who's been banned...Do you find this valuable? |

If they are friends with your old students, which I highly doubt it, but if they are friends with your old students, they will be able to click on there profile from the friends list, and see they are banned. However, only moderators and up can view the banned list on a site. Moderators and up can view all the people banned, while users will not know users are banned unless the new students where wetpaint friends with your old students.
