Hey guys,

I have recently created an animated gif picture (http://image.wetpaint.com/image/2/P_GcOUBtYth9fu9HoudkiQ329241/GW400H300) I would like to use this picture as my profile picture but when I upload it it doesn't animate. I have seen some people's profile pictures which animated could you please tell me how to do this.

The way I have seen, some animate and some don't.
I don't know if they add some sort of code, but I haven't been able to get it working either. Do you find this valuable?

Likely the animated GIF you are trying to use is too big for a profile pic. The dimensions for a profile pic are 90 X 90. To have them as an avatar in threads the dimensions need to be 50 X 50. If your avatar (profile image) is not 50 X 50 or smaller then that, it will be automatically re-sized by Wetpaint and will no longer be animated.
Animated GIF's cannot be re-sized after their creation. If they are they will lose their animation.
This was a comment I used in the past. Do you find this valuable?

I think you shouldn't save as GIF. You should save as PNGs or something. http://animatedpng.com/
You should ask CryingDove, he has an animated profile image. Do you find this valuable?

On my wiki Splats, I outline using animated gifs on Wetpaint. It will give the dimensions of the different uses of the profile image. It will also, explain some anomolies with working with animated girs. Follow the link below for instructions
