how a member can be deleted completely from wetpaint so he cannot see the discussions.

i run an online discussion for my students which is required for my course, and students drop from the course, so i have to remove them in order to prevent them from seeing the contributions of the other students.

Members can not be deleted completely from Wetpaint, they at the most can be banned. Although banning members makes finding them more of a challenge, just knowing the user-name of a past member could get you to their profile, where you can view their contributions. However there is an alternative to removing content from your site. You can delete past revisions to a page making the past impossible to see. After which you can delete the page or keep the same page if needed. You could just simply delete comments if you needed to, if you go to that past threads it will just bring up a message saying that the thread was deleted.

To delete prior history of a page.
1. Go to the page you wish to delete history from.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page where the pages recent updated history is.
3. Click "complete history"
4. Click the arrow next to the date/time.
5. There should be two options select Delete This Version.
6. Do this for every edit, and it will be as if it never existed. However moderators have the ability to restore deleted versions, so keep that in mind. If the type is move, lock, or rename it can not be deleted, but it isn't really that big of a deal.
Sorry I didn't know if there was a page for this information, so I hope you are able to follow me step by step directions

Here is a page on how to delete threads.

Hope this helps!

"how a member can be deleted completely from wetpaint so he cannot see the discussions."
I take it that banning a member only prevents a user from contributing, not from viewing the material. If that is so, and one cannot invite members to a private site, how can one prevent others from joining when opening the site to let an invited member join? Does this mean that in essence, there really are not private wetpaint sites?

If the member joins again while your site is open, you can ban their new account. Do you find this valuable?
