I think the answer should be that you can't take an off-topic post off of it's topic. Like a topic about meteor showers suddenly becoming a topic about Hippos or something. I suppose it should also be here if it relates to a current world event. Do you find this valuable? |

Taking a topic off topic would mean the description should say not related to the topic of this thread. But it says SITE. I am sure of my comprehension of the meaning of that sentence. What I am not sure of is where the many different derivatives of the meaning of that statement are coming from. The statement clearly says not related to this site and does not state off topic to a post. So. if someone could give a clear definitive answer to at least me, as to what the appropriate content should be in this Category, I would much appreciate it. And I think others would also."Wow...now I'm confused. What you guys are saying is super confusing. Anyway, I suppose that this Off Topic category means you can discuss anything. Anything, which includes Typhoons in Taiwan. Though I don't think you can just change the subject of a thread in the Off Topic category. Because it clearly says in the WPC Rules page in Rule 2 that you can't spam. And changing the subject is close to spamming. That's what I think. Anyway, yeah. The typhoon is horrible!!!!! I live close to Tai Wan(I live in Hong Kong) and it feels like I can feel the typhoon also! Do you find this valuable? |
