HACKERZ!!!

Someone hacked my friends account his name is Alex1223 we were on the website warriorspride.wetpaint.com first they deleted everything and then we moved to darkfroestwarriors.wetpaint.com then people started harrasing Alex and sending him and everyone on the site with hacking and death threating messages. We tried to contact authorties but they didnt do anything yet. then they hacked his account and deleted everything again after we worked hard to reastore it. we moved AGAIN to darkforstwarriors2.wetpaint.com and now they deleted stuff on that site to. I locked all the pages on Wp and the original Dfw that seems to work for now but they wont stop with the messages and threads. Pease do something about it soonhere are some names way to many helpers to name if you go to Dfw and looked at our banned members and you will find everyone who has done this Do you find this valuable? |

What you are experiencing is known as "Site Ruiners". The best way to handle them is to do what you did. Lock the pages. If you have to restore them, then restore them. Threads that are replied to or started by them can be handled also. Have your members not reply to those threads. Let them sit at a reply count of 0. The ruiners are out to push people's buttons. If they get a response they are happy. The more responses to their threads, the better they feel. Do not respond to them. Delete them or make a category to hold such threads and move those threads to that category and tell your members to stay away from that category. When there are no responses, the ruiner(s) will get bored and move on. It is easier not to respond than it is to carry a conversation with them, where you are getting stressed and they are laughing their heads off. Do you find this valuable? |

Very true--just don't reply, don't get angry at them, don't do anything back, just delete or lock threads they start, don't even look at the messages they send however tempting it might be. Ban them and lock all pages. You could try banning them and making it a private site for a while.
