How can I disable threads in specific pages?

In the homepages of Wetpaint Central and http://northsidefun.wetpaint.com there are no "Thread for this page" link. And I don't see any option to add a thread there. How can I do that to my own site? I'd like threads for my other pages but not on the frontpage if possible.

It is not possible for users to disable threads for specific pages at this time.

Okay, thanks. But what about for this site ->http://northsidefun.wetpaint.com? He doesn't have threads in his frontpage. Or maybe he is a premium mmember and premium member can do this?

Can we do this now? On the homepage of some sites, you can't post threads.

Wetpaint has the ability to remove threads from the home page of certain sites. However, this is not something that is done for the general public.

The ability to remove threads from the home page was never enabled for the public in the first place.

As I said before, the Wetpaint staff does have the ability to remove threads from a wiki's home page, and they occasionally exercise this power on partner wikis and their own personal Wetpaint sites. The wiki you mentioned was created by Michael Bolognino, a former employee of Wetpaint.

He was an employee? I never knew that! Where'd he go? He seems to have dumped all of his sites in one go. You don't think he may have..............Anyways, do you know if they can return my page back to normal? Do you find this valuable? |

Yes, he was the community manager at Wetpaint until he was laid off in July 2009, along with several other employees. If you'd like threads to be re-enabled for your home page, you may contact Jeremy (jeremy_wetpaint or info@wetpaint.com).
