Non wetpaint sites being advertised
Jul 10 2009, 6:38 PM EDT | Post edited: Jul 10 2009, 6:38 PM EDT
Perhaps this was a once off since the advertisement in question doesn’t seem to be there anymore however I still fell the need to report and complain of an advertisement for some kind of phone sex service with mildly pornographic images on the advertisement itself on a site I am a member of.
I strongly disagree with these kinds of advertisements being put on any wetpaint sites as wetpaint would/should not approve of such images being added to sites therefore why have advertisements with these images placed on a wetpaint site? Also I don’t need those kind of images rubbed in my face while I am trying to chat to friends in threads.

Hi, thanks for letting us know about this. However, in order for us to remove an ad from the network we will need more information.

If you come across an ad that seems to be pornographic in nature, or has audio or video that initiates without user interaction, please follow these steps:
1) Take a screen shot (capture) of the page which includes the ad.
2) Copy the advertisement's URL
3) If you click on the ad, copy the URL that it takes you to.
4) Place all of this information in an email message and send it to us at info@wetpaint.com

Thanks for your help!

If we have the appropriate information we can help. Without it, we can only guess at what ad you're talking about.

Thanks, we received both messages. I went ahead and passed the details on to our advertising account manager so we can make sure the ad has been removed. Do you find this valuable?
