3. Details:

I have a wetpaint account, & am a member of a wetpaint group. I have no problems logging in with this username and password. The problem only occurs when I try to create a site. I have tried repeatedly to creat a site with these errors:

"Usernames must be between 3 and 20 characters long and may not contain spaces or any of the following characters: < > & \ ".

OR

"We were unable to log you in, please check your username and password and try again. "

I know I was using the right username and password because I tried repeatedly and had no trouble logging in to get to the site I'm already a member of. The only issue is when I try to create my own site. I have to get a site up by Tuesday, can anyone help? (I already tried deleting my cookies and history) Do you find this valuable?

Hi Nicole. Can you try to create your wiki from this page? Go to the upper rightt of the discussion page and you will see MY WETPAINT, There should be an option to Create You Own Site. Select that and enter your information from there. Let me know how that went. Do you find this valuable?

Tried that, same problem:

"We were unable to log you in, please check your username and password and try again."

Also just discovered there's an error loading the page where you start creating your site:

I can no longer help you Nicole. That is beyond my expertise. I will contact one of the Wetpaint personnel here to see if they can correct it for you. The error code you have captured should assist them in finding a solution for you.

Hi Nicole. What version of Windows are you using?
Have you tried using a different browser on that machine?
Have you tried using another machine? Do you find this valuable?

i am using windows xp service pak 3
internet explorer 6

IT is coming over to let me try another browswer "temporarily" only...We'll see! Do you find this valuable?
