As a school educational site, I may not be allowed to continue my wetpaint site if I can't remove the Share this addition. My school administration does not want a curriculum site directly linked to social networking sites. Is there any way to remove the link?

You can ask your IT adminstrator to add the following site to the block / filter list. This should eliminate the linking to the share this option.
