ANY WAY TO SEARCH THE WETPAINT SITES

I'd like to search wetpaint sites to see if there are any I might enjoy joining. I can't figure out how to do it. Is there a reason that there is no search capability for the listing of sites? A search engine--outside of wetpaint--may not list wetpaint sites immediately. In fact, when I did a search for wetpaint sites, I came up with nearly nothing but 'create your own' links. If I want to come to wetpaint and I can't search and find sites, how is anyone going to be led to the site if I don't have another site better equipped to direct it somewhere? It doesn't make sense to me.Lyn Do you find this valuable? |

The easiest way to search for Wetpaint sites is go to anyone of the search engines like Google or Dogpile and type in *.wetpaint.com It is had to see with this text, so I will type it phonetically. Asterisk dot wetpaint dot com The asterisk is a wildcard meaning anything before the wetpaint.comThe results from the search will all be wetpaint sites. Keep in mind, the list is compiled from the most to the least popular sites on that search engine. Also, keep in mind, Wetpaint has over a million wiki site. You can also go to the main site by clicking on the upper right corner of this screen that says A Wetpaint site. Then at the main wetpaint site at the very bottom of the screen you will see categories like Art, Business, etc. Click on anyone of them and it will give you wiki sites in that category. And once your are in any category there is a navigational window to go to any of the other categories. Do you find this valuable? |

If you have a specific interest your are seaching for such as Games or Food or Teaching, a narrower search can be done by placing the interest word followed by a colon then wetpaint dot come.g. jewelry:wetpaint,com will list results for wetpaint wikis showcasing jewelry. There is also a way to search wetpaint sites. In the upper right corner Select My Wetpaint. That drop down menu has Search All Sites. You can enter search criteria in there. Type in Games to see all gaming sites. Hope this covers all the bases in searching.
