Deleting threads on profile page on Wetpaint Central

I would like to see the ability to delete threads on one's own profile page. Do you find this valuable?

You know I don't think many peole like yu, no one replis to your threads, but I like you. I thought there wa but it is probably only available for moderators. i never exactly tried before. Do you find this valuable?

Boo Hoo Coo, is what a crying dove would say. Nobody likes me. Here is what I think. What people think about me is none of my business. ha ha ha

I am not here for a popularity contest. I am here to see if I can help someone with their wiki problems.

Plus it is not nice to flame someone in threads. So I guess this will make the only person that likes me, follow the ranks of all the others that do not like me. Alone again with no answered threads.

Maybe, I mean it is your profile. However, I think it is best to leave this for moderators to do. Moderators will deal with any inappropriate threads on the Forum or the profiles. So, even though this feature would be nice, it is rather un-needed in my opinion. Do you find this valuable?

This thread was put into the category of making a suggestion. Plus there was not talk of inappropriate threads on my profile. I just wanted the ability to clear out threads from my profile. Nothing more or less. Whether it is un-needed or not is up to the wetpaint programming staff. Do you find this valuable?

I was just giving my opinion. Also, if you need any threads deleted on your profile for WPC, I could do it, if you want. Do you find this valuable?

So only moderators can delete those! Oh! It shouldn't be like that, I agree that we should be able to delete those threads on our profile. Do you find this valuable?

edwardandbellafan, warned for flaming. That was really not nice. CryingDove, IMO, is one of the best Wetpaint users around.

This is definitely a feature I would like to see. It's your profile and you should be able to change anything.

That was flamming, CryingDove and I are friends. I help him with his amazing new "work arounds" you should see his new table disappear thing, it is amazing. I also corrected myself, I do not say "suck" very often, I was trying to be funny, but I will edit my post to make you happy. It hurts my felings when people wrongfully accuse me of doing things.

I am sorry CryingDove if that caused you any hurt that I ws agreeing with you! I was saying is was bad that we cannot delete threads on our profile. Do you find this valuable?

We slid off on a tangent that no ones to be on. So I will re-post my original suggestion.

I would like to see the ability to take ownership of our own threads. Have the ability to delete a thread that clearly belongs to us. This goes for threads and replies, that are in the discussion area or on our profiles. Many times I have quickly responded to a post and then changed my mind about what I said in the post. The only thing I could do is edit my post and put in a minimum of three words, so the post ended up being
Nevermind. Duh, Duh" after editing.
