You must save the image onto your computer first and then add it to your website.

On wetpaint, the copying option does not work great. I would like to see them improve on this option to copy and paste pictures from the Internet to Wetpaint pages. But, do as Andrew said, save the picture then upload it to the page.

They aren't exactly trying to paste any photos, they want to add photos to their site from a USB or a Hard Drive.

The user is trying to paste a picture onto their site. The topic of this thread is Photo Pasting Problem. You cannot paste an image directly from your computer to your wiki page. You must upload the picture to your wiki page via the add photo tool in easyedit mode. It must be in a gif, jpg, or png format and less than 500k in size. You can however, copy images from elsewhere on the internet onto your page. Again it has to be in one of the three formats listed above. As far as uploading images from a USB drive, simply select the USB drive letter in the browse window in the upload portion of add photo tool. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
