Keyword tags

Okay, I'm probably being naive, but why do you put keyword tags on a page?

Do you see the search bar on the top right? Keyword tags are used so people can find the page. So if the page is about Dogs, in keyword tags i would write:

dog
great dane
golden retriever
chihuahua
etc.

 Do you find this valuable?

I don't use those. They are useless. Do you find this valuable?

Not really, it can save time and is quicker than looking for it yourself. Do you find this valuable?
