Can writers still edit pages?????

If I have a site setup so anyone who joins my site can edit it but all of the pages are locked like this can writers still edit pages?

All help would be appreciated Thanks (In advanced)

Only Moderators and above can edit locked pages, regardless of the site's permissions. Do you find this valuable?
