Neither do I, but that's besides the point! There should be stricter controls on just who gets to advertise on Wetpaint!

Well, let's not bring up the Malware issue... I've seen some strange stuff, from wife-cheating info, to scantily-clad anime characters.

The ads that Google Ad-sense shows on a website is relevant to the website's content. So if you have a page for Gaming Cheats....guess what you are going to get ads about cheating. Ad-sense tries to blend its ads to the content of the page or site. Wetpaint works in partnership with Google to assure ads are as appropriate for Wetpaint wikis. If they didn't, some ads that would be displayed on some sites, would force members to burn their eyes after viewing the ad.

Even with Google, it's apparent that some innappropriate ads slip in. I guess this is something we just have to deal with.
