Wetpaint does support direct uploads of video files. You will need to upload your video to a hosting service like YouTube and then you can add it to your Wetpaint site using the URL or embed code. Do you find this valuable?

Hey Jeremy, everytime someone puts any/all kind of widgets, I can never see them. All I can see is a huge box. Would you know why that is? Do you find this valuable?

Can you upload videos that are not on Youtube. For confidentiality I would prefer the videos not to be on the Web. Is there another way.

It is not possible to upload video's straight from your computer. You would have to upload them on Youtube then post them on your site. Almost every video service on the web is usable on Wetpaint, some better than others. You could just unload it on a less popular video site.
Also in the future please create your own thread instead of using an old one.

Anime now? Cool!
This is getting off topic. I was thinking though, there's no page on WPC for help with adding Hulu videos. A mod should make one!

"Can you upload videos that are not on Youtube. For confidentiality I would prefer the videos not to be on the Web. Is there another way."
Your question needs to be answered two ways. When you upload anything from your computer, it goes to the web and you have no real confidentiality. You may be able to mask the video behind a private site or set permissions to view or download the video. But it is on the web none-the-less. I find that www.box.net supplies the best form for uploading videos, documents, mp3s and other formats. The uploads go into user defined folders similar to Windows Explorer. Permissions can be set to individual files or folders, which allows for some confidentiality. You may invite person's to view your videos, while the general public cannot view them. You may put the video into a link or a widget to be placed on your wiki. I invite you to visit Box and see what it has to offer. Here is the link
