Can someone change the creator's role? Because on my site it says I'm a moderator,

No. No one can demote/promote or ban the creator. It is odd that you are a moderator. Where you the creator at a time? Do you find this valuable?

Is the creator not active? Are you the only moderator or up? Do you find this valuable?

But you can ask the Creator to Cancel their Membership so the most they can become is an admin. Do you find this valuable?

You are included in the list of Moderators because that list includes everyone with Moderator and above privileges, including the Creator of the site. Nobody can change the permissions of the Creator. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

My situation is even worse!
I am the Creator of my site, but accidentally cancelled my membership, assuming I was cancelling another user on my site, and now I can only re-join as a Registered User, so there are no moderators on my site, whatsoever! Any help urgently appreciated.

Thanks for your reply, I am the Creator of the site, but since "rejoining" I have been demoted and thus, unable to manage the site as there were no other moderators and I do not appear under admin/I do not have admin rights anymore?
