Multiple voting issue
Jun 5 2009, 3:26 AM EDT | Post edited: Jun 5 2009, 3:26 AM EDT
I can create a poll, no problem. But I seem to have a problem in which only one person can vote on the poll and the poll is "finished". No one else can vote. It says "100%" voted.
How do a make a poll and have it to where everyone on my site can vote on the poll?

Did you make your poll private? If yes, make it public. Do you find this valuable?

No, I have done it several ways and as soon as I put it on my wetpaint site, one person votes and thats it. Whether I have it set to a private or public when I am making it, doesn't seem to make a difference. Do you find this valuable?

If it says 100% voted that means that only one person voted, and their answer is 100% out of how every many voted which is 1. Do you find this valuable?

Some polls are set to expire after a certain number of days or voters. Re-do the poll and check that the poll is set to never expire.

What happens is I go thru the process of creating a poll, it can be either a one-answer poll or a multiple choice poll in which you can select two answers.
After only ONE person votes, no one else can vote. It says "100% voted" and takes away the ability for anyone else to vote. The little tabs disappear.

The site I have is a private password-protected site.

Whether I have a date or not doesn't seem to help either way.

Are all of the people attempting to vote using the same computer or computer network? (ex. school, workplace) You cannot vote twice from the same IP so if everyone trying to vote were using the same internet connection, only one vote would be allowed. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I have the same problem. I figured out that it was either the same ip or cpu causing the problem. So now what? Do you know of any polls that will allow for revoting? I plan to use this site for my school and let students vote.

With Vizu's IP recognition program, I don't think this would be possible unless your school's computers are not linked on the same network.
