"How do I delete my account????"You can cancel your membership but you can not delete your account. The thing you did not know when you joined was that any picture you posted became the sole property of the WIKI. Any pictures you uploaded can only be deleted by a moderator. Sorry about that. It does not make sense but you are stuck unless it strikes the fancy of a moderator to delete your photos. Bill 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

"How do I delete my account????"I accidentally used my email address as my user name, and realized that was a bad idea so I tried to change it. According to the site, I couldn't just change user name, I had to cancel my membership and start over. AFter several attempts over the course of a month, I finally am no longer on the page so I tried to rejoin with the user name I want. It said it was taken (Betty was taken, in a group of only 26 when I can see all the names and none are Betty, plus I know the members of the group, and I am the only Betty, so I think this is related to my husband trying to set it up for me with Betty but couldn't due to my email address already in use,...So you'd think it didn't go through and the name should still be available.) so I made minor changes. Finally accepted a user name, but said my email address was already in use. So apparently the membership is still not entirely cancelled. HOW CAN I ENTIRELY DELETE THE PREVIOUS USER NAMES AND MY EMAIL ADDRESS SO I CAN START OVER? Do you find this valuable? |

Hi, I posted the June 1 thread on "How do I delete my account?" and am waiting for an answer. I tried again today, and it still says my email address is taken. Please email me at kellerb@charter.net with your answer, because I had some trouble finding this thread to check for an answer.

Oh, I think this is my problem! I DID post a photo. So I have asked Viv to delete it and then I can start over.But for heads up, of Betty, BettyK, and BettyJK, are any available for user names? Betty Do you find this valuable? |
