I find it ironic that most "users" that need help, aren't even users. They are mostly anonymous. Now, I know this is off-topic, but what I am proposing is that we should consider disabling the feature of anonymous posting. Wouldn't you get more money off of people creating actual accounts? This user would have to use his account if he has one to join WPC to post his problem. I would like a reply to this as I think this is a great suggestion. Walrus, I want your opinion too. Also, to clarify, I do not mean disabling the feature completly, just on Wetpaint Central. Do you find this valuable?

Sometimes, people cant create accounts. They might have trouble creating one, so they post as anonymous. I dont know about this idea, I agree, it might give more money, but I am not sure. Do you find this valuable?

If you are a member of Wetpaint you can still post anonymously. Just don't sign in and post. So as a reader of threads here on WPC it is most difficult to tell whether a anonymous poster is a member or not. As far as money goes, Wetpaint Wikis are free to most members except anonymous posters who pay dearly for the option of not being known. The fear of how they may appear in front of others. Which is cool. Do you find this valuable?

Wetpaint Central is the Help and Support Wiki for Wetpaint, Inc. How else would people who do not know if they want to join, find answers? Do you find this valuable?

Nope this wouldn't work. As WWS said, if a user encounters some kind of bug and they are unable to login, this makes it nearly impossible for us to help that user. Do you find this valuable?

I see I am defeated on this topic. It's just that those anonymous posters usually insult us, too. If they had to log in, we could identify them. Do you find this valuable?

Not many anon users have insulted anyone on WPC, they are usually IP banned if they continuously insult users. They don't seem to return once they are warned. Do you find this valuable?
