A suggestion around password protected pages

I am creating a wiki, where it is pretty important to have password protected pages, or selected user pages. Is there anyway that I can do this, like within the next few days? Do you find this valuable?

I know that, I am asking if anyone has any suggestions around this feature that is not available yet?

Basically, do you have any suggestions on how to keep user from reading a page, unless given permission?

What you can do is to create a new site for your protected pages. This way only members you invite will be able to see of change the content. Then on your main site provide a link to that url for the private site. The private site will open in a new window. Or you could provide a page with an iFrame widget pointing to the home page of the private site. See examples of a private page along with instructions on how to set them up here.

It is a work-around that I have been using for a couple of years now and works fine.
