I want links to open in a new tab/page

Some of my links open a new tab in Firefox, or new page in Explorer. But some added by one of the members open in the same window (some students have lost their way back to the wiki in this manner). Is there a way to edit the link in such a way as to reroute it to open in a new tab/page? 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Well, I don't know about that, but there is a way to ensure you open a new tab in FF and IE. If you right click on the link, there is an option to open in a new tab in the menu that apears. If that option does not appear, it will already open in a new tab
Hope this helps!

Have the users who are having the problem refresh the page or clean out the browser cache or cookies. Then the linked page will open in a new window. See FAQ at WPC on how to clear cache.
