Safari Browser
May 18 2009, 9:00 AM EDT
I just discovered that our new website (www.nserve.info) does not display the YouTube videos when viewed using Safari. I was checking out our website on a friend's browser. Pop up box said: "Safari cannot find the Internet plug-in. The page "http://www.nserve.info/" has content of MIME type "application/x-shockwave-flash". Because you don't have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can't be displayed." Is this something I need to adjust on our website, or is this message for the individual user of Safari? Thanks for any help you can lend.

Oh, that's because Safari is not good with Wetpaint. Try using Internet Explorer or FireFox instead. Also, look at this page: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Browser+Support

It could also be that you do not have the correct shockwave or flash players from Adobe. I suggest going to the adobe website and downloading them. If you do not have them, FF or IE wouldn't work either. I suggest FF or Chrome however, as IE lags.

Safari works fine for viewing Wetpaint pages. That message is specifically telling you that you don't have Flash installed for Safari. You can get it at http://www.adobe.com/flash
