How do I get one of those widgets that says "Apply to be a writer!"

I don't think you do but I may be wrong unless you mean when people join your site where the easyedit sign should be it says apply to be a writer if they are not one.

That's right Jake, and this only happens on sites where there are permissions where people can become writers (you know, the 3rd option of security). Do you find this valuable?
