I am not sure. You really dont need to edit the code. You can just delete the widget and get a new code and post it with a new widget. ~WWS. Do you find this valuable? |

"I was thinking of enabling users to edit the HTML of a widget on easyedit.. to correct a typo/error, or just to view the code used in the widget..."Editing the code after the widget has already been added to the page is impossible, however you can alter it before you have added the widget to the page. http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/widgets/ Do you find this valuable? |

"Editing the code after the widget has already been added to the page is impossible, however you can alter it before you have added the widget to the page. http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/widgets/"I know, that's why I'm suggesting to make it possible... but what about if you want to know what's in that code after it has been posted, say a few months ago... and reposting a new widget takes more time than just tinkering with it, maybe replacing a "." with a ">" in the code or a typo in the text.. Do you find this valuable? |

Well, i see your point there. But you could always copy and paste a widget from one page to another.

yeah, but what about if you need to edit that widget... or copy its format then post another widget with content which is a little different from the one you copied from... that would be totally handy...
