Hello Wetpainters,Here at Wetpaint Central, we strive to provide you with a place where you can find useful help information, learn the best tips and tricks, and hear all the latest Wetpaint news. Many users find that Wetpaint Central is a good venue to find potential new members for their sites. Unfortunately, the posting of threads asking others to "come check out my site" tends to make it more difficult for the moderators (and other users) to find and respond to posts about important questions, suggestions, bugs, or other concerns that need attention. We have decided from this point forward, we will NO LONGER ALLOW USERS TO ADVERTISE THEIR SITE ON WETPAINT CENTRAL. Any postings advertising or encouraging others to come visit your site will be deleted. We will give warnings, but we reserve the right to ban any repeat offenders. Fear not! We understand that having a place to share your site with others is important to you so a handful of brave Wetpaint users have volunteered to run a site for just such a reason. From here on out, please use http://wpads.wetpaint.com/ to share your site with other Wetpaint users. Don't forget that there are many different ways you can promote your site. We have tons of great tips on this subject at http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Promote+Your+Site . The more of these tips you use, the better your site will do. Glad you like the idea. It should be open very shortly. Budde is administering the site, and I asked him to go ahead and open it back up to the public.

I've not understood all that's written on the Share Your Wiki page. My wiki is not 30 days old. Can't I advertise it there?Also please explain the meaning of all the other points on the page. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

OK!It is sort of a Wetpaint rule, they do not add a Wetpaint wiki on the Wetpaint 500 until it is 30 days old. Everything must be verified, and a lot of things have to be worked with. Also, they want to make sure you are committed to the wiki! 30 days gives you long enough to build up some content. I do not understand why there are those periods on the pages, but you do not have to worry about that! Do you find this valuable? |
