Well, a wiki allows you to add content quickly, and the most unique your content is and the more you edit your pages, Google and other search engines find your site.

Posting keyword tags, writing unique content, and adding your site to popular search engines (http://www.google.com/addurl/) can help direct traffic towards your Wiki.
