Search keeps yielding "no results"

I have several pages with the name "Alexander" in the title and some with it in the text. But searching Alexander yields "no results." The same for everything else I search. Is it a glitch with sites that are redirected to custom domains, or how can I get search to work? Thanks for your help!

It seems this has been a problem for a long time now:

The search my wiki box returns no results when there are instances of that word in pages, tags and body copy. Anyone know why?

The search box does not work at all on my site. No matter how well a query matches one of my pages, no results are returned in the search.
My wiki is lcclocal.wetpaint.com, and I am using Ubuntu 7.04 with Firefox 2.

Please be patient while we fix our search indexing in the next couple of days. After our next release, our search index will (hopefully) not be experiencing these problems.

I typed the exact page name and it returned nothing.

The 'search box' left_top is not working here.always: 'no results' for everything.

When searching from the search bar above my content box, the search does not find pages with title words i just created. This will not be useful if I cannot perform these types of searches.

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.17 on Mac OS X 10.4.11

What is the URL of thw wiki this is happening on? Do you find this valuable?

The search function is not working at paddockparadise.wetpaint.com, either. Folks have complained. Do you find this valuable?

This can happen if the site content is not indexing properly. Please provide a specific example of a keyword that you search for that results in no results.

dmaink - What site are you encountering this problem on? Do you find this valuable?

"manitoba," for one -- I knew there was a new member who had posted that word in a thread but when I searched the threads there were no results. I'll ask the other members what words they've had problems finding in the thread search.

By the way, is it possible to integrate the thread search into the site search box?

This is the exact same problem I posted about earlier today. I have never gotten a search result on my site no matter what keywords I use. I started my site last weekend, but thought it should be indexed by now? Do you find this valuable?

The "Search this site" box does search pages, threads, and photos for results.

I found the term "Manitoba" is in this thread by using Google to search the site:
http://paddockparadise.wetpaint.com/thread/2625810/Pet+friendly+weed+killer

For some reason the Wetpaint search feature has not indexed it. We are looking into it.

I'm having the same problem with my wiki. I just created a page where I used the term EZBorrow several times, both in the actual article and in the keyword tabs. I still get nada when I search the wiki. Anything I can do to resolve this issue? Do you find this valuable?
