Tags and searching do not appear to function?!

Although I have added tags (keywords) they are not found by the search engine in wetpaint. It would seem as though the engine in wetpaint can only locate pages with specific names, not pages that contain the keywords you choose to search for. In other words, are the keywords you add, only inserted as metadata for general web search engines? Also, a whole list of keywords appear when one adds a keyword, not just keywords that would be pertinent to the page being constructed. So are these keywords pasted into the metadata for all the pages on a wiki site?
I do not understand what this search engine is looking for and what the keywords are referring to as they seem to be useless for searching inside one's site. Do you find this valuable?
