Suggestion on HTML...
Feb 15 2009, 5:34 PM EST
My suggestion is about HTML. WetPaint needs HTML. It can be combined with the WYSIWYG interface. Take Webs (http://www.webs.com/) for example. They have a great WYSIWYG editor, along with an HTML feature. Try it, sign up and see how easy Webs is, almost as easy as WetPaint, but there's more to that. At Webs you can add your HTML, it doesn't have to be the huge HTML code, it can just be a link code perhaps, or even a form, anything from HTML. But does WetPaint have that? The answer is NO... HTML is what makes the page unique. Even if there is a WYSIWYG editor. I like Webs for its HTML, but I also like WetPaint because of this community website, but I'm thinking of switching back to Webs. I already have a personal website set up at Webs - http://www.thespaceman.webs.com/ But I don't know what will happen in WetPaint. I am already starting on a new website out of complete, and sophisticated HTML coding just to add my HTML features where I want because of 1 reason - searching for decent web hosts with both an HTML feature, and a WYSIWYG interface is getting hard and boring. I hope WetPaint will someday allow HTML someday. I e-mailed WetPaint, and I read lots of posts about HTML, but all answers from WetPaint seems to be the same, that they will notify the development team to pass on the suggestion, but I'm not sure when WetPaint will finally let us use HTML, I think I should go back to using Webs even if Webs is crappy. Well, I have no idea if this suggestion would be useful, or if it would be trash. I hope I would still be with WetPaint when they finally let us use HTML.- thespaceman5 (http://thespaceman.wetpaint.com/) 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
