Membership cancellation.

I believe that the creator alone should be able to cancel a member of a site they created. Especially if it is a private site! Its not always enough to ban someone sometimes...
There is a real need to address this!!!

Well, if the creator quits, what would happen? An admin would have to be able to take care of things. Do you find this valuable?

No, that's definitely not good. Banning someone is enough, even if they are terrible. Sorry to be critical of your idea, but if you don't want someone on a site, Wetpaint has made plenty of ways to prevent them from getting back in.

IP banning risk banning innocent users. If the creator quits, then the site should automatically be handed down to the admin.
Think in terms of an actual club or membership, not just virtual-it limits your perspective...
I've read some horror stories of just banning and it was not enough...

Again, as the creator of a site, that person should have control over their creation and be able to protect its creation from crazy abusive people.

Banning is practically the same thing. Even if their membership is canceled, they can still re-join with a different account, just like if they were banned.

Yes, it is sad sometimes banning is not enough. Hackers and freaks rejoin. But most of the time banning will do the trick. If it gets REALLY bad, then contact Wetpaint.

Wetpaint can IP ban anyone as we have that information in the database.
