Thinking on getting a custom URL,need advice?Please=)

Hi I just started a wiki to weeks ago but I've noticed whenever I try to google it,it wont show up atall. I went into the Promote tab and they recomended getting a Custum URL,do they make a difference to people finding my site and also would it show on google/yahoo if I did? There are three places for installing a custom URL,which one would be the best to go for,and are they difficult to install? Any help would be MUCH appreciatted=).

I don't know, but I'm pretty sure it costs money for a custom URL. You do know that, right? =3

All I can say is that if you want a custom url, get a free one. For example try:1. www.co.cc 2. shorturl.com 3. www.sturly.com Do you find this valuable? |

Yeah well godaddy said its like 10 dollers a year I think I wouldn't mind that. Do they make a difference with your site being on google and does it make it easier for people to find? And are they difficult to install????

You don't install them. I don't know if it helps you on search engines. GoDaddy is the best choice.http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Custom+URLs Do you find this valuable? |
