Customized Headers
Jan 16 2009, 12:16 PM EST | Post edited: Jan 16 2009, 12:16 PM EST
I see great examples of customized headers. But under settings the only option I seem to have is text without and uploaded image or uploaded image that snaps to the left and replaces the text. I also would love to know how to change the text size and style.
BUT, I simply LOVE WETPAINT. I am a teacher and within days have 54 sixth graders each with their own site with many pages. You are making me a superstar!

If you want to have a custom header, create an image that includes the site name in it. The custom header image will replace the plain text site name at the top of the page, so it's important to include some text in the image. If you look at the header at the top of Wetpaint Central here - that's an image.

You can change the text size and style for content on the page using EasyEdit, but not the stuff that is part of the interface (the navigation menu, tabs, settings, etc.)

All banners are left justified. If you want a banner to be centered, you must include spacing to the left of your banner, when creating the image before uploading it to your wiki.
