invitations in limbo

I have invited several people to the wiki who do not appear yet as members, but I also am not able to click "invite again" on the "see who you've already invited" page. In some cases, these people attempted to register for wetpaint but found their computer permissions at work not set to allow it. When that was corrected, they discovered that their user name & emails were "already taken" [presumably by themselves the first time around.] how can this be corrected? Do you find this valuable?
