Wasted printing ink:

As to the new "always-show" thread, it does seem to encourage slightly more postings? However, if it is to be kept, a "non-print" app needs to be added so that when a page is printed the "start a new thread" section doesn't appear. At present, at the EoHT.info site, when printed, as shown below:http://www.eoht.info/page/HT+Wiki%3A+practice+page the section/box leaves for a visual eye-sore (especially when printing 100 or more different pages) and is a waste of ink (which is expensive!). At present 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I have to agree with this. Also, I DO NOT like the "start a new thread" always showing at the bottom of all of my pages. I can see that it might have it's place on some, but on many pages it is just an eyesore. I don't like it at all. I would MUCH PREFER that it was an optional choice (page by page) as to whether or not a creator wanted it showing or not showing.

In the next release it will be moved below the other posts (making it less prominent). Additionally we're introducing other, new, features like post locking, editing (your own only) and featured (AKA stickies). Thanks for the feedback.
