how do ypou stop comments on your hompage... so no one can make a thread? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

If you go to the (more tools) area in blue at the top of page....click and then a drop down list will appear. Click Lock Page. This prevents anyone adjusting anything 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Or you can ask me. I'm a Wetpaint expert, but not as good as Jeremy.
If you are listed as Anyomous, then it might not work when you want to make a thread. It'll say you have to join first if you'd like to post.
On private sites, unless you're signed in, you cannot even view the site.
The way the last option works is this: It's like there's a moderator/writer/admin postions for posting thread. So if you're a higher rank than RUs, then you can post a thread.
