What purpose would that serve? You would have to come to the forum to see what's been written since your last visit, so it would seem pointless to have to launch your email client to post a response when all you need to do is to add it the thread? 1  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

I convene a work related national special interest group on google groups. Most people aren't allowed to access google groups at work (it is considered social media) and only access the group through email, ie. they get an email whenever anyone posts something, and it is also possible to send emails to the group without accessing the internet site.

Since some of the original google groups features have been discontinued, eg. the files and pages sections, I am thinking of using a wetpaint wiki instead. But we still need this function of being able to participate solely by email. As far as I can gather, this function is not available on wetpaint. Please let me know if I am mistaken.

Its not available and is never likely to be I am afraid. Wetpaint are not adding any new features to this old platform. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
