"what is the "EMBED" mean and how do you export code?"Embed means in context of a website, to add code to the existing HTML so that it integrates to form part of that coding. However, you don't export the code, but rather import it. Generally speaking, the code you want is contained in the download instructions for a given widget so that when you click "Get Widget" (or words to that effect), you're presented with the code you have to copy. For example, if you go to http://www.yourminis.com/ you'll find a Radio you can embed in your site. All you need to do to obtain the code is to click "Copy Me" which is spin the object around. Then click the top left icon which has a plus sign on it and then click the "Copy" button. That copies the code to the Windows clipboard (you don't have to highlight it first). The next step is to go to your site, add a blank page to wherever you want to place the Widget, save it, reopen it and then click the EasyEdit button. In the toolbar at the top, click the icon called "Widgets". From the menu which appears next, scroll down and select "Other Widget". Click the field in the dialog box which pops up to place the cursor there and then hit CTRL+V to paste the code you copied earlier. Save and exit and you should see the Widget appear. Do you find this valuable? |
