Updating my permissions

I have gone to the Permissions tab and changed it to say that my wiki will only be editable by invited members, but I cannot seem to change my role from creator to writer or moderator. Any idea what could be causing this?1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Any idea what could be causing this?You definitely don't want to change your own permissions because you risk locking yourself out of important editing functions. If you take a look at this chart: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Sites+That+Require+Invitation you'll see what each user type is able to do on the site. Why would you want to downgrade your site abilities anyway? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

It is impossible to change your self from creator to any other permission. You can cancel your membership and than come back, but you would only be a registered user.
