You know what would be a good idea? A "User toolbar". Generally, creators of the wikis have no problem understanding the possibilities of the wiki site and will get on and try out features etc.

I've had my wiki going for nearly 2 years now and have noticed there are differences in the confidence level of members. Some of them are more than happy to get stuck in but the majority aren't really used to what a wiki is about and have a reluctance to try creating material for fear of "breaking it".

If new users/members had access to a "User Toolbar" I think they would be more willing to get in and add stuff. Our members for instance are of a varied age spread and not all are as comfortable with "computing" as perhaps younger members may be.
