Latest release is playing havoc

I keep losing formatting...Text keeps triple spacing or even more, pictures float even, writers have told me they can not post from Word and keep formatting, etc. Is anyone else having similar problems? Any solutions? Anyone know when we might get this cleared up? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Your best option is to add tables to the page and then place the info in the appropriate cells. For example, if you add a table with say five rows and three columns, then by adding a background colour to the left and right cells and leaving the centre one the same colour as the background, the information can be separated without the need to format. If you choose "Select Table" from the editing options, you can drag the column spacers to create a narrow centre field while leaving the two outside ones much wider. The cells will expand automatically, the more info you add, so you don't have to worry about that particular aspect. Similarly, you can add/delete rows and columns as need be.

If you're posting from Word, try disabling wrapping before you copy/paste it.

I had a major problem with this before. What I finally did was to copy the text to wordpad (it takes away all formatting from the text) (word didnt really work) and then copy it back to wetpaint. From the wetpaint editing tool, I put back the formatting in. Its much easier than putting in column spacers etc before and after headings.

Cheers,

Yeah, copying it in to wordpad/notepad should fix your problems. Tell your members to do the same. Do you find this valuable?
