Enable Shivaji Font to type messages in Devnagiri Script

I am putting up this suggestion on behalf of Health Education Library for People -(HELP) situated in Mumbai, India. At HELP we have felt a strong need to create health education material in Hindi our national language which follows the Devnagiri script which is very different from the Roman/ English script. I have found out that it is possible to type out content in Devnagiri script in Word by downloading this script from the net and adding it to the Font Settings on my Computer. Can you enable this same in Wetpaint so that we could contribute our comments/add pages in Devnagiri script on our HELP Library wetpaint wiki. It appears to be the most important thing for us to do at present. The content released by our wiki will enable billions of citizens of my country. 17  out of 18 found this valuable. Do you?

Although this is an old post, one must understand fonts and how they are used on the internet. Font faces have to be on all computers in order for that font to be used. The fonts that WP uses are the ones that come installed with every operating system (Windows and Mac) when the computer was bought. In order to use a font not in the list, each viewer of the site would have to download the font onto their computer in order to view the font., otherwise the browser will select the default font to display the text.
