Wet Paint really has to do something about this - it's too hard for users. For me this is the one biggest draw back and I am considering moving away from wetpaint because of it.Whenever I create a webpage on my other website it appears on Google within a few days. I've looked through all the search results for my wetpaint site and it doesn't appear at all - down to the 5th page of results. The other thing you can't do with wetpaint is verify your site with Google because when you upload a file (attachment) wetpaint changes the name. 2 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

Our sites are regularly spidered by Google, Yahoo!, and MSN every day. It does take a few days for a new site to be found, however.What's the URL of your site? 2 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

That is because you have to pay to have a site on Google or the other thew.

I tried it using my full url on the search line for google. Everything else showed up but my wetpaint site (mhussainstudios.wetpaint.com). I would like to know how to do it to get my website showing up on a google or yahoo search.
Do you find this valuable?

I posted my website www.corcointernational.com a miami web design business that I have by just searching in coogle for the following sentence: "listing my website on google" and I did the same with yahoo, bing.com, etc. I hope this information help you.1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Check if your site has been indexed by entering the following into the google search box, you can do this with yahoo and bing as well:site:www.yourwebaddresshere.com Naturally change yourwebaddresshere to your actual web address and .com to whatever extension you're using, if not .com that is. If your site is returned then at least you know it has been indexed, if it hasn't been returned and your site has been up a while then there is likely to be a problem with it. Use google webmaster tools as that can give you some idea of what is wrong. If your site is returned then you have to learn more about search engine optimisation in order to get a good position on your chosen keywords. Do you find this valuable? |
