Wrong Advertising displaying - is it a bug? - Wetpaint losing revenue
Nov 13 2008, 10:09 PM EST
On a previous Wetpaint site I was quickly able to adjust my content so that the right kind of google ads were shown. If I recall, this was by putting the right key words in my home page. With a new site (canoepoloinfo.wetpaint.com) I do not seem to be able to adjust the advertising it attracts. All the advertising is for painters - so presumably this is based on the word "Wetpaint". Instead of the words canoe, kayak, paddle etc. (Lot so fthem, in hidden text (black on black!)) Only difference I can think of is that this time the Home page name has been changed. Would that be the cause ? The result is - My users get irrelevant ads - mildly annoying - Wetpaint don't get the click thru's they need for revenue! Do you find this valuable? |

Your wiki is relatively new. It can take a little time for ads to adjust to the content on a new site.I don't think either of us has anything to worry about regarding what ads are shown to the user of your site. Do you find this valuable? |
